Seeds

The Fannin Soil and Water Conservation District can order a wide variety of grass seeds for your particular needs. We also offer Wildlife Seeds and seed mixtures for Water Fowl, Spring Dove Mix, Deer Mix, Quail and Turkey Mix.

 Wildflower seeds are also available.

Trees

Fruit Tree sales will begin in October and go through December, delivery date will be the first week in January.

Windbreak and wildlife tree seedlings, both evergreen and hardwood species are available.

Maps

Ortho Digital Maps from 1995, 2004, 2005 and 2006 are available.

We also have USGS and Flood Plain Maps.
 

Equipment Rental

The District has two Brillion Seed Planters that we rent to producers / landowners in Fannin County..

 The rental rates are as follows:

$5.00 per acre with a $75.00 minimum

$40.00 Delivery fee.

 The adjoining counties have a restriction of 15 miles from the Fannin County line and the Delivery fee is $50.00 plus .50 cents per mile from the county line. The rental fee of $5.00 per acre is the same.

SOIL SAMPLER TOOL

 The District has two, one-piece handheld soil samplers available to landowners in Fannin County, free of charge.
